As soon as the car stopped right in front of Jude's car the doors opened and Faisal came out with Bader behind him.
The creep snapped his head towards the guys, I blinked for a millisecond heard a shriek from Jude and found the guy on the floor covering his face, and Faisal on top of him as if the creep was his very own punching bag.. Bader was trying to get Faisal of of him. He waved at us to leave, and Jude sped away as fast as she can.
Me: are you're okay?
Jude: yea I'm fine
Me: ok then slow down!
Jude: oh
Me: you want to stay for dinner? I asked as soon as she parked in front of my house.
Jude: No I can't, its sunday remember? Every sunday Jude's father comes back from Dubai to stay for 2-3 days, then goes back to his other wife and kids. but Jude never gets along with her father because her mom is never says anything good about him ever since he left.
Me: are you sure you can handle it this time?
Jude: Yea, i'm fine. don't worry.
Me: ok bye, call me later
Jude: bye, sure

I got in walked in and found everyone sitting down in the living room. my sisters Janna and Jawaher were sitting in a corner chatting. My brother, Jassim, and my father sitting on the couch across the tv, watching a football game with a table in front of them that carried the walnuts and pistachios they were munching on. I dindnt see my mom, I figure she is in the kitchen getting the dinner ready.
Me: elsalam 3laikum. I went to my father and kissed him on the crown of his head.
everyone: wa3alaikum elsalam
Dad: sha5barech Jude?
Me: el7mdlla baba, ent shlonik? I had a fake smile plastered on my face.
Dad: el7md- GOAAAAAL!
I took that as a sign to go check on my mom.
Me: Jawaher wain mama?
Jawaher: bel ma6ba5
I went to the kitchen that was all the way on the other side of the house. I walked in and found my mom siting in one of the chairs with her elbows propped over the counter and her hands covering her face. I felt sorry for my mom. Who would want their husband to go get married and have kids with another woman that lives in another country? It makes me angry just to think about the idea, I can't even begin to imagine what my mom is going through. My moms suffering is what has brought all this hate and rage I have for my father. He didn't just betray her, he betrayed all of us. I don't know why my siblings don't feel the same way, and that makes me even madder.
Me: Mama. I rested my hand on her back.
She took her hands away from her face which was red from crying. One thing noticed about when she cries is that she doesn't shed any tears, she just turns red. I figure its from all the years of living with her anger and hatred from my father she has learned to control and hide her tears.
Mom: ahlan 7abibti, ha sha5bar el jam3a? estanasty? she was trying to control herself, to not burst into tears at that moment. she seamed more fragile than ever, like she was going to break if anyone laid a finger on her.
Me: eee mama, wayed 7lwa eljam3a, w ely a7san ena Sara ma3ay. I said as soon as I kissed her forehead.
Mom: el7mdlla, 3yal zain sawayty enaj '3aiarty el jam3a.
Me: eee zain sawait. agool mama, shnu el 3asha?
Mom: enty mob tawch rada mn '3ada ma3a Sara?
Me: eee bs yo3anaa
Mom: yal daloo3a! roo7y g3dy ma3a 5awatch w el wakt beeroo7 saree3 lain el 3asha, yallah.
Me: enshallah. I kissid her forehead again and left the kitchen to go sit with Jawaher and Jana.
As me and my sisters were catching up with each others lives, even though I live with them it seems like I haven't seen them in forever. we were interrupted by our father calling our names. He was holding three boxes in his hand. they were rectangular. He gave each one of us one. I opened mine, there was a gold necklace lying on a red velvet cloth. it was shaped to turn out as my name, it had a diamond at the end. I peeked at the boxes my sisters were holding and it was the same thing but with their names instead of mine. I looked up at my father and he had nervous expression on his face. Jana and Jawaher were over the moon, but I was frozen in my place looking at my fathers face. my sisters thanked him and kissed his head, I thought it was rude to not say anything so I did the same. It felt wrong like he was about to tell some bad news.
Dad: Ok, sem3aw fe shay abee agool lkum eeyah. I knew it! I knew there was something he wanted to tell us. binty 7anan betyee et3eesh mne l2na tabee tadrs fe Kuwait.
He was obviously was waiting for an answer, I looked at Jawaher and her eyes seemed like they were going to fall out of their sockets, i turned to Jana and her jaw almost reached the floor. God knows what I looked like. I looked at my mom and it seemed like she already knew about it. I looked at Jassim who was holding the Rolex watch my dad just got him in one hand and his face was turning red. There were a million questions running through my head and I didn't know which one to ask first!
Me: mta btyee?
Dad: bacher
Me: wain betnam?
Dad: fel guest room
Me: ay guest room?
Dad: ely feeh el serdaab el kbeer.
Me: ay jam3a ?
Dad: AUM
Me: SHNUU?? LAAA!!
Dad: materf3een 9otj 3aly fahma!
I stormed out of the living room and went into the guest room with the huge closet while dialing Sara's number. Tears started running down my cheeks when Sara Picked up.
Sara: Ahlaan, missed me yet?
It felt my throat was closing up.
Me: Saa *gasp* raa
Sara: Jude shfeech?
Me: my dad, he he he
Sara: hold on take a breath. I'm coming over, leave the back door open.
Me: *gasp* ok
I opened the door to the room and went inside, I took one of the arm chairs and put it near the closet so I can climb it. I took the dusty mahogany box that wasn't really big nor small and went to my room.
The creep snapped his head towards the guys, I blinked for a millisecond heard a shriek from Jude and found the guy on the floor covering his face, and Faisal on top of him as if the creep was his very own punching bag..
